Free ATS resume checker
Get your score in about three seconds. No account, no email, no credit card. We tell you every critical problem for free — Pro is for fixing them.
Type the title from the posting. It sets the keywords you are scored against.
Your resume is analysed in memory and is not stored. Nothing is saved unless you create an account and explicitly save it.
What this actually checks
Most free “ATS checkers” are lead-capture forms with a random number attached. This one runs five concrete analyses and shows you the breakdown, so you can disagree with it.
Keyword match (30 points)
Your wording is compared against the terms used to screen your target role. Full marks arrive at roughly 72% coverage rather than 100%, because keyword stuffing is both detectable and counterproductive — it gets you past a filter and then rejected by the human on the other side.
Quantified impact (20 points)
The proportion of your bullets containing a real number. This is the single biggest separator between resumes that get interviews and resumes that do not, and it is the one most people can fix in an afternoon. Two candidates who did identical work are judged almost entirely on who attached numbers.
Language strength (15 points)
Whether your bullets open with ownership verbs, and how much filler you are carrying. “Responsible for”, “worked on”, and “detail-oriented” all cost you here — the first two describe proximity to work rather than ownership of it, and the third asserts a quality instead of evidencing it.
Structure (20 points)
Standard section headings, contact details in the document body rather than the header, and readable date ranges. Creative section names like “Where I’ve Been” are invisible to matching.
Parseability (15 points)
Whether software can read the file at all. Two-column layouts and table-based designs — including most attractive templates from design tools — get read left-to-right across columns, splicing your skills list into your job history. It looks perfect to you and arrives as garbage.
The honest limitation
No public tool can replicate a specific employer’s configuration. Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, and Taleo behave differently, and each employer tunes their own filters. What this checks is the set of problems common to all of them, plus the things a human recruiter notices in a six-second skim. A high score does not guarantee an interview. A low score reliably predicts not getting one.
